Ship Statues

Does anyone know if HAL sells statues/models of their ships in the gift shops? I have a coworker going on a HAL cruise next month, and would love to have him bring me one back if they do. Thanks for your help in advance!

Yes, they have them. IIRC they are about $25 for a 6" model.

Yes, they do. I have one of the Eurodam. I bought it onboard in the inaugural year.

 

Wait until the final day of the cruise. Merchandise is normally 1/2 price.

Yes they do. I have one for every class of ship except the Signature Class and that will change in November when I buy one for the Nieuw Amsterdam

For something smaller and lower cost, they also sell Christmas ornaments of the ships. They're not very detailed, but they include the ship's name.

They have small ceramic models of ships they sell as Christmas Tree Decorations. The cost about $20 each if I remember correctly.

Wish I could remember which ship we were on -- I saw one that was larger than 6 inches. I do remember the price -- $30.

The Royal Goedewaagen of the Netherlands makes Delft Blue statues of each ship in the fleet that are sold on board. These are about $25 each (sometimes cheaper on Ebay...) and all have a common look an feel to it if you are thinking of collecting them. They look very nice in a display cabinet side by side... :-)
