Where will the Jewel OTS dock at San Juan June 22, 2013 ?

If this is just a port stop then you will dock right in Old San Juan. If this is the start or end of your cruise you will dock at the Pan American pier which is about 10 minutes (by taxi) from Old San Juan.

We stayed at the Sheraton Convention Center, it's very close, you can see the ship from there. However you still need a taxi to the ship, there is no good way to walk. No sidewalks or easy access to the port. So find any hotel close, you'll still need a taxi. Sheraton Old San Juan is about 10 min away.

 

BTW if you choose the Sheraton Convention Center, there is a bus stop right across the street that goes into Old San Juan for .75 each way, bring a roll of quarters.

IMHO only stay at the Convention Hotel if the price is right. There is nothing nearby and you'll need to taxi to Old San Juan. There are lots of hotels in San Juan that are close to restaurants, etc. We've stayed at the Doubletree and will stay at the Holiday Inn Express neither of which are at the port. Port is just a short taxi ride away.
