eskruger Posted September 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Going on my first cruise with Oceania - Riveria Oct 4th from Venice. I have seen many mentions of on board credits. Is this offered by the cruiseline or by the travel agent? If so what range of OBC are we talking about? Thanks in advance, Erik & Michelle
Rare LHT28 Posted September 17, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Usually comes via your TA ...may be from cruise line incentives or your TA may just give you one;) Sometimes the cruise line will give one directly but it will be noted on the website for the sailing Amounts will vary ;)
Rare PaulMCO Posted September 17, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Oceania also gives OBC and pre-paid gratuities to their frequent cruisers. Amount varies by number of cruise credits.
pacheco18 Posted September 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2012 TA OBCs on Oceania are usually not huge. The amount will depend on your stateroom level. The thing to find is a TA who gives you free gratuities!
dundeene Posted September 17, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2012 American Express also has an Oceania deal for $300 OBC if you pay with your Am EX Platinum Card.
JimandStan Posted September 17, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2012 American Express also has an Oceania deal for $300 OBC if you pay with your Am EX Platinum Card. True- but there are so many rules and restrictions to that offer that we have never been able to take advantage of it.....even though we always charge 100% of our travel on Amex in order to get those phantasmagoric Starwood Points.
