Russian Candy

Here is a photo of three types of candy that I thought were good. I found the bags in the smaller towns in their supermarket. The bar I found in the supermarket in GUM, Moscow. They make nice gifts to bring home.

This tasted like the old fashined maplenut drops.

This had a hint of coconut

This reminded me of a Twix bar. Our tour guide recommended this. This candy was also sold by the kg in miniature bars. I didn't see it, but our PD bought a bag and shared it will all of us.

Hi

Liz and I purchased some candy bars w. the baby pic for our grandkids, but ate them and bought more in Lithuania. The Lithuania bars were a big hit.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the Russian chocolate was. I think my favorite was the milk chocolate and crisped rice bars with the white bear on the wrapper. We also had some delicious cookie/cracker that was shaped like a pretzel knot but had a sugary, honey taste.

The only thing better than the treats was the vodka! :D
