ticktoneer Posted September 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2012 In November / December we are sailing b2b2b on Independence. After the first & second cruises (13 nights then 3 nights) we will have 75 cruise points so become Diamond. Even though its back to back I'm assuming we will then get Diamond benefits on the 3rd cruise from 8 thru 16 December. Is this assumption correct? JillyChill Posted September 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2012 I have heard that it takes up to two weeks to get your status updated after cruising, so it might not be in the system yet. They may be able to help you out on the ship, but computer wise, I don't think it will be in the system that fast.

So if I'm undertanding you right you'll be Diamond after your 3rd cruise.

So if I'm undertanding you right you'll be Diamond after your 3rd cruise. You know I really had to go back and look at the 75 or 80 number on the RCCL site. For some reason, I also had it in my head that it was 75. Maybe I was just thinking about becoming Diamond Plus. It's 175 points to reach that level. Too bad we can't cruise in December or we'd be there with the Diamond Celebration Promotion. Very astute, Ray! The devil is certainly in the details! ;)

gxchan Posted September 26, 2012 #11 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Have read on these boards to see the Loyalty Ambassador once onboard to expedite things. :) I have a B2B booked later this year and will turn Diamond on the first cruise. C&A advised me to speak with the LA at the end of the first cruise or beginning of the next cruise and they will make sure the perks (Diamond Lounge, coupon book) will be available to me on the second cruise but only some LAs use stickers to make the notation on the sea pass cards. A couple on Serenade had it done last summer without any issues. Ginnie

Too bad you won't be Diamond after the second cruise....then you could have gotten double points for the "December Diamond Celebration" on the third cruise.
