Great review, thanks. We were on the cruise before you, and the elevator was out the whole cruise, too.

I unfortunately broke my arm in Progreso so was pretty out of it for the remainder of the cruise! Going again in February, though....just need to not trip and fall....and there was NO alcohol involved!

Sounds like you know how to enjoy....don't sweat the small stuff!

OMG..that is awful..I am so sorry that happened to you! Hopefully your next cruise will go better!

Ok, I am back....At work today, I remebered that I had forgotten to mention that we had breakfast in the dining room the first sea day. This was our first experience eating in the dining room at breakfast and will probably be our last. The food was ok, but we definitely liked the options at the buffet better. We did have some good table mates and we sat and talked football for awhile, but that is just something that I wanted to mention.

All right back to the review. At this point, we are in Chankanaab enjoying the beautiful views and the warm sun and each others company. We still have a full day's activities ahead of us. Are ya'll ready?

After relaxing for a while, my hubby and I decided that we wanted to go back snorkeling before we explored Chankanaab a little bit more. So we jumped back in and just watched all of the fish. I kept laughing because the fish were sooo close to us and it was kind of freaking me out.

When we had our fill of snorkeling, we went back up to dry off and we turned in our snorkel gear. The guy at the counter pointed me to the showers. I went over, so I could just kind of rinse off..it felt wonderful to get that sand and salt off! After rinsing off, we picked up all of ours stuff and headed to the mayan replicas. Steve really wanted to find that dang Mayan calendar so he could add some more years so the world wouldn't end in December. He is so silly!! Anyways, we found the replica area and followed the path. It was pretty cool and here a few pics from that area.

Here is the entrance

I told Steve that we found his twin

ry%3D400

and then you walk up to this hut and there is a women making tortillas the Mayan way and she handed out samples. I only took a small but but they were pretty good!

We finally found our way out of the jungle (well that is how I felt anyways), we went over to the dolphin discovery area to take a couple of pics

ry%3D400

ry%3D400

ry%3D400

and then we headed out to catch a cab to downtown.

ry%3D400

We caught a taxi and asked him how much it would be to take us downtown and he told us that the prices are set. It is $10 from the ship to Chankanaab and then $10 back, it is $7 from the ship to the downtown area. So from Chankanaab, it cost us $17 because we actually passed the ship on the way to downtown. So that was kinda nice, because we knew exactly how much we would spend on taxis. So we headed downtown to Senor Frogs, and away we go!

passing the ship

ry%3D400

and then we arrived downtown and got out and went inside Senor Frogs for a drink! This place was DEAD. I think there were maybe 8 people inside counting us.

Back at the the terminal, it started to sprinkle a little bit but we didn't really care. We walked around some more and just enjoyed our last few minutes at our last port

We then headed back to the ship to beat the crowd and we were also starving!!

One last pic of the water

ry%3D400

We headed to the buffet to feed our faces and then headed to the room to shower and change and get ready for sail away. Now we were supposed to leave Cozumel at 3. We did not leave until after 4 because we were waiting on 7 or 8 people. We went out to our balcony and this is what we saw

ry%3D400

We even saw one girl being wheeled onto the ship by wheelchair and she was passed out. I hope she was okay. Finally everyone was on board and we took off. Good bye Cozumel..until next time!

You can see the rain off in the distance

A pretty rainbow

ry%3D400

We decided to walk around the ship and just enjoy being on the ship, we knew our time was coming to an end.

ry%3D400

It was really windy (if you couldn't tell)..lol

I wanted a pic of the sunset but it was too clowdy, so this is what I got

ry%3D400

We went back to our room to refresh our drinks and we met our newest friend

ry%3D400

We then hit the casino and we had some good luck this night (must have been the rainbow). Roulette and Craps were nice to us and we left while we were ahead. We headed to bed and hoped that we would sleep in a little bit the next day.

Up next: the last sea day and the CASINO!! I will probably write this tomorrow night. My computer is having difficulty posting the pics and is taking forever!

Thanks for your review! It's great! We are going next Thursday and we will be going to Chankanaab Park to swim with the dolphins! I'm glad to hear that you had time to spend at the park and then still have time to go shopping downtown! That is exactly what I plan to do! Look forward to reading about the rest of your trip!

Happy Wednesday everyone, I am back to finish my review.

Sea Day ( Last full day of the cruise..*tear*)

Well we actually kind of slept in a little bit, we woke up about 8:30ish and we walked out to the balcony and the day was beautiful! The water was the smoothest that I had seen it on our cruise! I could have looked at it all day!

ry%3D400

We all got dressed and headed to eat breakfast and then walked around the ship so I could take some pics of the ship. The Triumph is really pretty and I loved walking around and taking pics. Now I can't remember the names of all the areas, so sorry if I don't include the name.

And that is where my camera battery died, so we went back to the room and refreshed our drinks and changed camera batteries and headed up to the lido deck to take some pics at the back of the boat.

So pretty and flat

ry%3D400

My husband decided he wanted to go test the slide out and swim for a little but, so I found some seats and just relaxed and read for a while. The deck was crazy, there were a lot of people dancing to the DJ's music and everyone was having a great time! The DJ played all different kinds of music and so I really think there was something for everyone. I had a blast people watching.

There he goes

The DJ

ry%3D400

About 5:30 or so, they shut down the DJ and the deck kinda cleared out, so we went back to the room so Jason could shower and change.

From our balcony

ry%3D400

The whole cruise we could see this extended part of the bridge (I guess that is what it is called) from our balcony, so Steve wanted us to take his pic.

ry%3D400

I guess the guy behind Steve wanted his pic taken also.

After hanging out on the balcony for a little while, we wanted to go see our last cruise sunset. It was soo pretty and really made me appreciate being on the cruise even more.
