Diphtheria booster

Is everyone going to St. Petersburg, Moscow, etc. getting a diphtheria booster? I have had conflicting information about whether it is necessary or not.

It's a good question. It does not appear that any innoculations are required to enter the country. That said, here is a link for the CDC that may answer some of your questions as to what you may want to consider.

We were there in 2003 ..no shots required so unless things have changed you should be ok.

I would check with the Russian Embassy if you are concerned.
