Anytime Dining

The times we were large groups, they would put us in 2 or 3 tables close to each other or link a bunch of tables together. It depended on what they could do in the least amount of time.

We did Anytime dining on our cruise last week. (Side note, we were on a 4 day and the elegant night was the 2nd night) We enjoyed this option although there were 2 nights we had to wait 20-30 minutes for a table for 6. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge and waiting so it was no big deal for us.

 

The service was hit or miss. The last night we had an awesome server and I wished we had him the first night because we would have requested him every night.

we used ATD on this last cruise had no problems. We never had a wait, just walked up and was seated right away. Loved our waiter Song, he was so much fun !!

Giggling:) I don't think going on a cruise is the place to be alone. Limited space and lots of peeps wanting to eat just doesn't seem conducive to expecting a solitary (duo) experience for two. The dining rooms are not set up to give' date=' even Platinum, cruisers the same experience they would have at an intimate little restaurant on land. If you want to be "alone"...grab a tray at the buffet and eat it in your room.[/quote']

No....I just want a table for two like the ones that are on the second floor next to the railing that overlook the dining room below. We have had late dining over 90% of the time and have always sat at a large table. For this up coming cruise I want a table for two, not be lined up with others and be sitting at a pseudo table for two. We're not going to be rushing in as soon as the place opens and if we have to wait to get the type of table I desire, then we will wait.
