lovevacadays Posted October 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2012 I was just doing some research on Expedia and looking at hotel features. I looked at a few 4 star hotels and noticed they didn't indicate A/C in the rooms - only in the public spaces. Is this common? I sleep with my house very, very cool and do that in hotels as well. Hopefully, there are hotels in Singapore with A/C:):):)

Singapore is very modern in most areas...even the old parts of chinatown would have it. They even have misting stations on some street corners, where you stand to cool off. Globaliser Posted October 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2012 I looked at a few 4 star hotels and noticed they didn't indicate A/C in the rooms - only in the public spaces. Is this common?I suspect that they don't say it because it goes without saying. Singapore is an equatorial place, which means that it's basically tropical summer all year round with virtually no seasonal variations. You'd probably have to look quite hard to find a hotel that does not have air conditioning throughout.

lovevacadays Posted October 21, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted October 21, 2012 Thanks for the info. I found it strange that A/C was in the public areas but not in the rooms. Makes sense that "it goes without saying":)
