Celebrity Eclipse Ocean View & Verandah Rooms

Can anyone suggest a wonderful room to order on the Eclipse and what deck is best for a Veranda or Ocean View room?

You can't go wrong with a 1A - on the angle and the largest balconies.

We booked a February 2013 Celebrity Eclipse cruise. We opted for a Sunset Verandah cabin. At the extreme aft area of the ship; gorgeous views from that vantage point.

Basically an all encompassing view; the wake of the ship, panoramic views,

and SOLITUDE. IMO, a verandah is worth the extra money, than booking the Ocean View.

 

As far as decks go, we are on the 7th deck. Appears to be a good location.

Hi, I have friends who had an oceanview on deck 3 starboard side.

I think it was 3124?....anyway, they normally book balconies but for this

particular cruise booked the window. They really liked it:)...near

the Passport bar and Guest Relations. I sometimes book windows and

would choose this location the next time I am cruising without a balcony

on an S class ship.

We just sailed the Eclipse this past April and had stateroom 2157 on the Resort Deck which is a Concierge 1 Aft cabin with a verandah. I echo what Magnum said in that you can't go wrong with the vantage point, the beautiful views and the quiet location of the aft of the ship! Any of the aft staterooms are just fabulous. This March we're sailing on the Silhouette and have a Sunset Verandah stateroom again at the aft of the ship and can't wait!
