Pigon Island Taxi

I would like to go to Pigon Island, but worried about getting back to the ship. Are taxis available for the return trip?

you can either arrange with the taxi that takes you over to pick you up at a certain time or taxis are fairly available outside the gate at the bar and beach area outside the gate. I would recommend you arrange with the driver that takes you to pick you up. Easier.

How long does it take to get there by taxi?

PI is about 30-35 minutes from the port. On the way back, allow 1 hour due to traffic.

Thinking about doing Pigeon Island- we are doing "island tours" on our other stops, and I thought we might be tired of riding around in a van all day :).

 

Is there shopping near the port? Or other things to do close to port?
