Senior Fares

I'm looking at a cruise that's offering a senior fare for less than the other fares. I'll turn 55 during the cruise. My question is: will Carnival sell me the cruise at the Senior rate or do I have to book it as past passenger since when the cruise starts I'm still 54?

You need to be 55 on embarkation day.

With that said, have you found a cruise with a senior rate? These are not available on most sailings and are usually offered on low season sailings, close to departure when Carnival needs to sell cabins on a sailing that's underselling.

I believe that, if your travel partner qualifies, you do too.

To find out for sure, call Carnival.
