Things to do in Orlando?

We will have a rental car in Port Canaveral once we get off the Freedom on Dec. 2, and have until 2pm to get to the airport (flight at 4:30). Any tips on things to do in the Orlando area before we head to the airport? We are flying in a day early, so will have already checked out the Cocoa Beach area and Kennedy Space Centre by the time we return. Not interested in theme parks...and not enough time anyway. Are there any good malls, outlets, things to see in Orlando that you recommend?

given that you only have a few hours your best bet is probably Florida Mall which is just off 528 a little west of the airport altho there are a couple of 'outlet' mall areas as well, especially over towards Universal / International drive.

We will actually be doing the same thing in March.I think we might head over to Downtown Disney....walk around have lunch, etc. Good Luck.

I'm with the other poster who goes to Downtown Disney - that is what we always do - there is also a Disney Outlet at the Outlet Mall on International Drive, it sells discounted items from the theme park stores, great for souvies!!
