I only have gallon size ziplock bags, do i really need to buy the quart size?

 

Yes. If you show up with that, they have quart bags at most airports, but you will have to get it all into one bag per traveller. Might end up having to throw stuff out.

You MUST have ONLY A QUART BAG. If you show up with anything else, you are subject to being demeaned by a screaming clerk and a potential retaliatory secondary screening for not following their security theater instructions.
