Rare forgap Posted November 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2012 I've searched the threads about the wine package and still need a simple question answered. Are the wines available in this package the ones that are listed by the glass on the wine menu posted on the Oceania website? What specific wines by the glass are excluded? Is the Perrier-Jouet champagne included or excluded from this package? Also, does anyone know where you can find out the details of all the various add on packages on the Oceania website? Thanks for your help.
JimandStan Posted November 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2012 Are the wines available in this package the ones that are listed by the glass on the wine menu posted on the Oceania website? The Full Wine List is posted on the website, NOT the list of wines that are offered by the glass. What specific wines by the glass are excluded? None. All of the wines that are offered by the glass are included in either of the Beverage Packages, the difference being that in the less expensive package those wines will only be served with lunch or dinner, whereas the Prestige Package includes service at any time when any bar on the ship is open. The "by the glass" list is rather extensive and includes 1 champagne, 2 sparkling wines, five whites, 7 reds, and 5 dessert wines. Is the Perrier-Jouet champagne included or excluded from this package? Perrier Jouët Grand Brut is included.

Rare forgap Posted November 13, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted November 13, 2012 Thank you so much! I was looking at page 10 of the wine menu. I assume that these are the wines "in play".
Rare forgap Posted November 13, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted November 13, 2012 LHT 28 - I was looking at the regatta and some info is there but nothing about the beverage package or the Internet packages. Admittedly, I get easily frustrated when the site doesn't have a search engine. We are in the preliminary stage of looking at 2013 Alaska cruises and we are vacillating between O, Silversea, and Regent.

They use to have the breakdown of the internet rates on the site but I do not see it any longer You can check FAQ http://www.oceaniacruises.com/guestservices/faq.aspx?Cat=All

You're absolutely correct. I apologize and admit that I had never thought to scroll down that far ((Blush)).
