RCI Visa Upgrade Question

Does anyone know if I can use my Visa points to upgrade from an inside cabin to an outside cabin and then use Visa points again to upgrade from an outside cabin to a balcony cabin? In other words, is there a limit to the number of upgrades I can purchase with Visa points and use on the same reservation?

I'd have to re-read the terms & conditions....Edit: re-read. There are some balcony options on there. I don't know the answer to your question. I've never had that many points to play with.:)

I believe it is possible. Did u check to see which is a better deal- upgrades or the cruise discounts ? I.e 100,000 points = $1,000 discount...

 

Or if u have enough for free companion fare and pay the difference to upgrade. it could be better to use that. There are a few options depending on exactly how many points u have

Call the Royal Redemption people at 888-305-4626. They will be able to answer you question. They are also good at helping you get the most from your points.

don't know what you pd for your inside, but the difference between an inside and a balcony for 2 right now is $600. That's the most that you would have to pay. Less if you pd more for your inside.

You'd be much better off taking the 60,000 points and taking the $600 credit towards the cost of the cruise.
