Well, since you started two other threads about the do-it-yourself-laundry, I guess it's not unreasonable of Tracie (and me) to wonder what caused you to develop such disinterest in doing your own laundry in the space of just a few hours, that's all. We're just entertaining ourselves here. . . .

That said, to answer your question, the all-you-can-stuff-in-a-bag special is not offered on all cruises, generally only the longer ones, but even then not on all of them. As Tracie says, it was $20.

I haven't see the $20/bag offer. Probably depends upon the length of the cruise and the number of Elites onboard getting free laundry.

The bags are not that big. We were in a suite in September and had four bags of laundry done and by the per item cost the clothes that fit on those bags cost about $120. The charges were reversed since laundry is also free for suite passengers.

CC member Pescado Amarillo took a picture of the laundry "form" and it has prices on it.

I am presuming they will not mind reproducing it here; it should answer your question! Looks best at the following link:

Here are some examples of charges from a 2011 cruise for washing. Charges ranged from $24 for a single bag to $65 for 2 bags. It depends on what is in the bag. Trousers cost more than T shirts and so on. If there isn't a special, the prices charged for each item are shown on the laundry tickets in your stateroom closet. Every Princess ship has self service laundries on each deck. Cost is $2 for wash and $2 for dryer plus a few $$ for the soap and dryer sheets. They use quarters which are available at the customer service desk. They also have free irons for a quick press. At times on longer cruises they can get crowded. Tip, the dryers are not as hot as those you use at home. If possible split your wash load into 2 dryers, if dryers are available, for a quicker dry time.

we have not seen those $20 specials for a long while, .....cost $4 to use the laundry each time so save your dollars and do it yourself other wise its going to cost a small fortune

The specials are out there, though not consistent. We were just on two cruises; 15 day and 14 day. One ship offered it; the other did not.

To A and T: I'm amused too :D
