Travelzoo and Quikbook have had some really, really spectacular hotel deals for now through March/April. Most are boutique hotels that are very kitchy and DEFINITELY NOT chain hotels.

Stay Thursdays-Sundays, Jan. 10 - March 31, for $149 per night, including spring Fashion Week (Feb. 7-14).

 

Highlighted as one of the Top 10 Trendiest Hotels in the United States in TripAdvisor's 2012 Travelers' Choice Awards, the Ace curates local art and vintage furnishings in guest rooms and offers hip, upscale dining.

 

Guest rooms have full-size beds and free Wi-Fi. For an extra $50 per night, upgrade to a larger room with a king bed and views of Broadway and 29th Street.

Travelzoo is the greatest thing since sliced bread! A couple of years ago we went to London, 7 nights, full breakfast daily AND R/T air JFK/London for $359. My sister and b-i-l are sailing on HAL's "Noordam" Jan 7, 10 days, $549 (guarantee) A lot of the prices sound too good to be true, but they are as advertized! We've never had a problem, nor has anyone we know who has booked something advertized on TZ.
