Private Island Tour

Can anyone recommend a Private Island Tour. There is just the two of us and we are looking for a driver that can show us the "must sees" of the island. No beach stays etc...

Thank you!

You can book a private tour with most of the tour operators: Serenity TVL, Spencer Ambrose, Cosol, James Touring, Frank's Tours, Real St. Lucia Tours, and so on. It will be much more expensive than going on the set tours, of course, but if that is what you want, then any of them will organize a great private tour. Serenity TVL is excellent, very highly rated, etc and the rest are all very good. A private tour can be organized to include eats and drinks, etc. also. Would help when organizing it if you had an idea of what you wanted to see.

Another option is to just hire a taxi/drver from the port. A full day hire, including down to Soufriere for the Pitons, etc. would run you around about $250 and up, depending on how many hours total, how many sights, etc. This would not include any food or drinks, or entrance fees. There will be lots of drivers with large maps, etc highlighting the main sights and offering tours. Very easy to hire one there also.

Best of luck, enjoy your visit.

Last time I was in St. Lucia we went with SerenityTVL. They were excellent. My mom was not a beach person so we did the land only tour- but I know they have a catamaran if you are interested in doing land and sea. There was a lot of driving as the roads were very winding but our guides were fantastic - lots of stops - for snacks, drinks, sightseeing etc. and they were very informative and proud of their island. Their enthousiasm was refreshing.

The tour saw all the sights and included lunch - no beach stays - but we did go to the mineral baths (bring your suit and a change of clothes).
