Shogun Posted January 1, 2013 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2013 Hi BoPippy While no reason why you should need a head waiter, ortalk to one, but many are very happy to talk to passengers, may be make some pasta or other dish at your table, if they want to get a off assistant maitre d they need good passenger feed back, so often will come around tables, check waiters are doing what they should be, on my last few cruises have enjoyed speaking to head waiter, assistant maitre d , the maitre d, even chef stopped by one night for a chat, what is nice , is to recall a past cruise with them, another important thing is to pass on information as often passengers see more old crew mates more than they do, have often been requested to pass on a message to a crew member on an up and coming cruise if I see them. yours Shogun

Since it was a smaller ship (and we were on for a LONG time) we got to know him a little. He's a lovely, refined and really sweet man!
