Just off Ryndam New Year's cruise and there was no charge for cappuccino or expresso in MDR, Pinnacle or Canaletto. Sparkling, filtered water was offered in the Pinnacle for a charge which we declined. Never saw it elsewhere.

We were on the Zaandam 08Dec12 to 29Dec12. There were not any charges for cappuccino or expresso in the main dining room and there was no prices on the menus. (main or desert) Are passengers happy now that HAL has changed the star status and added a fifth star for 500 days? Take care.

 Huh?

What does the added star status have to do with charging for ESpresso in MDR?

Coffees at Explorations Cafe have been reduced price for 4 Star Mariners for years.

I got the impression that the question regarding the new 5 star Mariner status was a general, off-topic question myself. I don't think there was any attempt at correlating the two.
