Booking a Tour at the Pier?

walk out of the port entrance into the shop lined precinct. There will be many drivers offering tours with a dispatcher organising the drivers. You may have to walk a few hundred yards with the driver to the parking lot. We took a tour of several hours visiting Nelsons Dockyard, Shirley Heights for views. The first time we arranged to be dropped off and picked up at Dickensens beach but last year went to the quieter Church valley beach.

My sister and I have had great luck working with the tour booth located at the end of the pier. A few years back we signed up for a spur of the moment 3 hour tour of Nelson's Dockyard, Shirley Heights, and a few other scenic stops. We had a nice guide and went with one other couple. Last year, we just wanted to catch a cab to Valley Church Beach. We were directed to a waiting van that left shortly afer filling up. It is really easy to find a tour there.
