A.S. Posted January 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2013 Is the free drink offered on their 2 day cruises to nowhere? I posted this before, but it seems to have gotten lost. Sorry if it turns up again. Thanks

Carnival_Brides Posted January 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2013 They were available on the Pride CTN in November, but it was a nightmare using the coupon. It could only be used the one morning at breakfast and EVERYONE seemed to show up for it. There were a lot of complaints because of the length of time it took for drinks to be delivered. Last I heard the beards were looking into the policy for CTN's.

Last I heard the beards were looking into the policy for CTN's. It was a nightmare at lunch on that CTN as well. Instead of the use being spread out over a week, there were basically 2 meals where it could be used. My advice is to go to the MDR as soon as it opens at lunch, and just order the drink. They have one or 2 bartenders who will serve you - and a line will form just for drinks. Most people don't know that and go for the full meal - which is way over-crowded and takes for ever. Note you can also ask for an unopened beer if you prefer not to drink that early. They really need to rethink this program, and least on very short cruises.
