laginog Posted January 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Weare considering staying at the hampton inn newark airport in Harrison. Does anyone know approximate cab fare to Cape Liberty? Thank you!!!
njhorseman Posted January 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Probably $55-60 plus tolls and tip to Cape Liberty. FYI, this hotel is not in the greatest location. We're usually hesitant to recommend it.
laginog Posted January 21, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 21, 2013 We need 2 queen beds not doubles. Not many hotels offer that. We are planning to go in to NYC on Saturday, plus wanted airport shuttle. Are we asking too much with all of this? Might have to settle..... Thanks for any suggestions!!! Bars7816 Posted January 21, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Is this an Eastern concept? When they say "doubles" do they really mean the old-fashioned double bed? Or is it actually just two queen beds, as opposed to a king?
138east Posted January 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2013 The hotel infrastructure in the NY area tends to be older which means the rooms are smaller. Double means double and queen means queen and king means king.
