btoad Posted January 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2013 The NCL agent booked us in cabin 11575 on the Norwegian Gem. The elevators are next to this room instead of another room being next to it. Does anyone know if we will hear noise from the elevators operating? Thanks for any help!:D
caribsun Posted January 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2013 The elevators are quite its the passengers that may cause a issue.
joteacher Posted January 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2013 We almost always TRY to book right near the elevator as it's so convenient and we've never had a problem with noise. ~Joanne

johnsak123 Posted January 25, 2013 #8 Share Posted January 25, 2013 I think its the people making the noise and not the elevators I like to be near the elevator but not too close to hear the passengers
buckirj1 Posted January 25, 2013 #9 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Not in my experience. On passenger decks, elevators are usually in a foyer with the stairways. There are halls leading off to cabins on either side. It's a very convenient place.
