Rare HeinBloed Posted January 25, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Great stuff as usual! What did you think of the fish pedicure? Wrong fishes for pedicure... They would need sawfishes... but I doubt that they would limit their activities to callused skin and toenails only... But the fishes "on duty": it was like soft electricity treatment - not tickling but as said it was convenient but the cold water they need to stay in... mypleasure Posted January 27, 2013 #10 Share Posted January 27, 2013 I'm having a great time following your blog. As you can see below I am sailing very soon indeed so this is all good info for me. I really appreciate the time and effort you are putting into this. There seems a lot of changes since I sailed last May. I don't know any of the key officers except Capt Vanja who was our Captain in Nov 2011 and Les Riley who I sailed with on the Sun in 2010 and I thought had retired. Maybe Les just does a little filling in job when Hotel Directors are on leave. The one person I recognised immediately was Isagani who was our steward last summer. Loveley man, charming, happy, smiling and helpful. He was great. Thanks again Hein Bloed, you are creating a wonderful pictorial review.

Les set his very last sailing (according to him - but he told me 2011 same...) yesterday and he will be from the ship when you are leaving. Armando should be back then. Isagani is a great guy and it's a real pleasure to be his guests. Subject you see him (around my cabin 10606)... please say hello to him. Have a great sailing!!! Regards HeinBloed I liked Les when I met him before but I love Armando. I have a gift for him so will take it along. He loves a place near where I live and the famous crystal glass wares. I will be seeking out Isagani to say hello for myself and will be sure to pass on your regards. I will also say Hi to Vasko for you. I left a comment on your blog about him. We became good friends last summer. His sister sails on the Jade and last summer I consoled him as the Jade left Venice. He had seen her only for 15 minutes that day and had not previously seen her for over 1 year. He was hoping to see her when the 2 ships next shared a port together around about September time. These crew members make big sacrifices for us.
SteveH2508 Posted January 27, 2013 #13 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Nice to see Frances K and Eddie. We shared several excursions with them on the Jade over Christmas. Say Hi to them from Steve and Marsha.
