Crown and Anchor teams up with M Life is official!

Recommended Posts

Great question! We'll be at the Mandalay Bay in less than 3 weeks and are Emerald C&A members, what do we have to bring to the Mlife desk? and does it matter if we sign up after checkin or would we be missing out on something? Right now we have a reservation but do not belong to Mlife at all. Not sure if having Mlife would "help" our reservation in any way.

Thanks for the help!

They said to print out your "My Cruises" log in page which has your status and C&A number. Thats all they needed from me at Mandalay Bay, but it did take a Supervisor at MLife to do it.

I don't see how you think even Platinum Casino level for RCCL member is such a big deal........I imagine you are only invited to join NOIR by your level of play or maybe if you are Pinnacle (700 days of cruising.) To be first in line and 20% off of high priced merchandise "Hmmmmmmmmmm let me hasten to this deal....."

We are not big rollers but will be staying at Beau Rivage next Week with Rooms Free and have not registered for RCCL MLife yet.......

C&A has to be invited to NOIR and I have not read anywhere that Casino Mlife will be joining us in the Diamond Lounges.

I think this is all well and good but why? To try to build up casino business on both ends and it is a good business decision. The more the casinos make the cheaper our cruises will be........let her rip.

The above is my opinion only......and I'm sticking to it.

Diamond (140 days)

and counting :-)

We are Emerald with RCI and had a reservation at the Mandalay Bay for May 29th. Upon arrival we went to the M life desk and got our upgraded M life Card (Gold). The M life rep was very good and was familiar with the program so it didn't take long to get it all done. I did bring a screen shot from the Crown and Anchor webpage showing my membership number and level.

Went to checkin gave them the Gold Mlife card and they added it to our existing reservation. It was only 1 pm and they were able to get us checked in, gave us our choice of high or low floor room and after a brief call to the Mlife prog was able to give us another $15 off our room which I thought was already at a great rate :D.

All this for liking to cruise was a really nice perk ;):D! We are not big gamblers so there is no way we would ever earn this privilege without this partnership. Thanks Royal Caribbean and Mlife!!

What money we did spend on gambling we did spend at an Mlife casino so they did get some benefit from us :p.

I called the number provided which was a Club Royale/RCCL and was told that if I receive Crown and Anchor benefits, the MLife benefits could not be added to my reservation -- "no double dipping".

I too am D+ and my TA called and had the MLife benefits added to our upcoming booking. (I had received an E-Mail from Mlife.) I received a call back from our TA several days later stating that because we received the D+ balcony discount we could not get both. The TA said that because we are on a cruise between Sept and Dec. that we could drop the D+ discount on our balcony and that they would give us about 400.00 off ((the value of a free three night cruise)). The drinks and restaurents we could not get. It all sounded so mixed up and who knows what they will tell us tomorrow. I will check into it when we are on board.

I checked in once we were on board (in the Casino) and were given all of the MLife perks by the Casino Host! It was great! If they continue this, I will like it, as I am Loyal to Royal and Mandalay Bay both!

I am still confused by all this. Hi high are you on Mlife tier? And did you get there because you are diamond plus? We are platinum with Mlife because we are diamond plus so not sure if I should take my card to the casino on our next cruise or not.

Have you taken, or booked, your free Mlife sailing yet?

Ours is next month. I was told that the benefits can only be used once per year. Probably based on the year ending 9/30, as that's when Mlife resets each year (at least for now...lol)!

I did not think we got the free cruise, since we are only mlife platinum because of our RCL diamond+.

We are D+ (RCI) / Platinum (Mlife) as well. You are entitled to the free cruise. Call RCI and ask for the casino dept. You have to call during regular business hrs.

Yes, it's my understanding if you are Platinum owing to your C&A status that you're not entitled to perks from Royal... which makes sense!

I have a couple of questions for you before I call if you don't mind. Did you book a 3, 4, or 5 night cruise for your freebie? Also was it limited to a Bahamas route or could you pick a Caribbean cruise? Thanks in advance.

You are limited to the Enchantment of the Seas (3 days) out of Port Canaveral. There are holiday restrictions but generally you can pick between July - Dec.

Since we have to fly to get the cruise I did a search for reasonable flights & hotel prior to picking our cruise. All in all we are saving about $840. Still responsible for taxes and fees which total around $210.

I hope someone will post if they are able to book a free cruise after becoming a Platinum member of MLife because they were Diamond+ on Royal Caribbean.

I don't see that happening unless the people at RCI are idiots! But then again...

I am anxious to here how this is happening. It is my understand when getting my MLife platinum card last week from the Bellagio that I had to earn that status gaming wise to get the cruise. I was pearl before showing them my diamond plus status.

Try to book a cruise & let us know!

I apologize for this lame question. I'm Diamond on RCCL and do have an MGM card that I only use sparingly once a year. I'm going to Vegas in October. What do I do to link my card with my RCCL status? Am I then allowed to reap the benefits while in Vegas? I like some of the perks listed here (priority seating for shows, go to the front of the line at buffets, etc).

Thanks

Yes, I think you would be upgraded to Gold level through MLife.

The best way is to take any thing you have with your C&A status on it, take it to the M Life desk so they can link it.

Good Luck!!

I printed out my cruise page that shows my status along with my crown and anchor number. The staff at any MLife desk will take the information to a supervisor to verify and then they go thru your account on the computer and then put your information to link the accounts. It was easy. We both have our new MLife Platininum cards. Now while they have sept 2013 expiration dates, you just get a new card next visit after that as it is based on your status with RCCL. Enjoy your trip to vegas!!!
