Advice on Emerald shopping in Cartagena???

DW and I will be going to Cartagena on our upcoming cruise and she plans to shop for emeralds. Anyone have opinions, good or bad, on any of the merchants they have used in the past. I figure getting input from people who have been there is the best way to proceed.
