Cabs in Vancouver and credit cards?

Last time I was in Vancouver in July 2003, I took a cab from the airport to the pier. At the time, for the best exchange rate I used my credit card to pay for the cab fare.

For those who have recently been to Vancouver, I just wanted to confirm that I can still use my credit card to pay for cab fare.

Please let me know if you have any experience with this.

Thanks!

I know that, and it sucks. but I think that in the end, using my credit card to pay for the cab, even after the 3% fee will be better than the hassle of exchanging money back and forth with the bad exchange rates and the service fees for exchanging.

 If we use Canadian dollars - what should the cab fare be from the Vancouver Airport to the Ramada Inn on Granville (downtown) and from the Ramada to the ship dock? I don't want to be left with Canadian $$$.
