Settle a friendly disagreement re Dream?

Friends:

 

On our roll call (May 18, 2013 Dream) some folks are decrying the fact (?) that on sea days, the only dining room breakfast option is the comedy thingy that happens at 9 a.m.

 

My understanding is that there still will be traditional breakfast seating from 8-10 a.m. in another dining room.

 

Can anyone clarify this for me (and for my cruisemates!)

on most carnival ships only the aft dining room is opened for breakfast.

 

only the ships that have a punchliners will be serving the punchliners breakfast.

 

you can have the regular breakfast menu on debarkation day

Serene: Thank you. But is it one or the other or one AND the other? Is there a traditional 8-10 a.m. breakfast and the comedy thing, or has the comedy thing replaced the traditional breakfast?

The comedy thing replaced the traditional MDR breakfast. :(

Punchliners replaces the regular mdr breakfast on sea days, but I think you find it a better breakfast alot more choices and many items to choose from for breakfast, plus the fact that you can have breakfast up to 1pm. The MDR has the typical breakfast items but check out the Punchliners breakfast.

only one dining room is opened for breakfast

usually the aft dining room bottom floor

 

breakfast was always in that dining room since i started cruising in 2000

Punchliners alot better breakfast....

filet mignon and eggs

many types of meat

eggs benedict better than mdr

salmon

omelets with abundent of items to include in omelet (mdr only offers 4 items)

 

much better breakfast!

I like the idea of having a change in the breakfast menu. Besides this is only on sea days.
