Best time to Board the Equinox?

Whats the best time to get on the ship to not get in the crowds, but early enough to go check on your MDR table, etc.?

11 Am people start boarding. We headed to the ship at 12:30, by 1Pm we are walking on hands empty and taken care of three things in a short time, and watching everyone do the same.

Yes, embarkation...and we usually get on the ship at 1:00-2:00, but I have never had reserved seating at a time that I want to adjust.

If you want to get on as early as possible around 11 or 11:30. You may have to wait in line or in the waiting area for a while but you will get on earlier than someone that arrives at 2. The only difference is they may not have to wait there but they waited somewhere else.

I don't know the date you are sailing, but our 3/15 cruise is virtually sold out. If yours is the same, your chances of switching times/tables is pretty low so not sure it would be worth going early and bucking the crowds IMHO. Technically you are not usually allowed into the rooms until 1:30 or so, and often that means the Maitre'd is not available until then either as they don't want people roaming the floors, so another reason not to rush.

I understand changing times is hard, but even switching tables?
