Rare Keith1010 Posted May 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2004 Does anyone know when the itineraries for 2005 (April thru December, 2005) will be published by Seabourn? Keith
bldsld Posted May 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2004 They usually come out in June. bldsld
bgood Posted May 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2004 Complete Seabourn itineraries for 2005 and first quarter of 2006 are now on Seabourn's website. www.seabourn.com The new 2005-06 annual is printing as we speak and will be available by month's end. bgood
robynp Posted May 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2004 Help!...oh, and hello everyone My first post here but must admit to "lurking" for quite some time, reading and gathering information. I have tried in vain to read the 2005/6 itineraries on Seabourn's site. I can see the months shown in the 'drop-down' menu, but the actual cruises do not display, just a blank page. I have tried to access the cruises on several computers as a test. I am wondering, with the new Seabourn website, if it now configures to only show the cruises on US screens? Might sound a bit odd, but when I access the website it seems to recognise that I'm from "Down Under" (shows available 2004 cruises in both US and Oz dollars). Hope this isn't correct as it does seem just a tad discriminatory if the majority of you are able to view and book future cruises and we can't (as yet). I sent an email to Seabourn (US) to enquire, but regretably they have, to date, elected not to answer my question. I shall be in Europe for several months next year and am very interested in a Seabourn Med cruise (possibly back-to-back). It's my reward for 'retiring' and I need to be absolutely spoiled - Seabourn seem to be the way to go judging by the loyal sailors on this board. Could any of you kind Seabourners help with any information? Many thanks....Robyn
TootyJane Posted May 26, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 26, 2004 Robyn, the revised website can be a bit tricky and I seriously doubt you'll ever get an answer to your email. I never did. Here is what you can do. Go to the Seabourn site. Skip Intro. Click on “Cruise Calendar†on the screen to your right. Scroll down to Custom Search. Select All Months, pick the month you wish to cruise, click find and viola you’re there. HTH BTW, my Mom and I are booked on a back-to-back on the Spirit next Sept 18 -- the Dubrovnik & Italian Romance, then Sept 25 -- Italian Isles & Classical Greece. She took me on my first Seabourn cruise (we were on the Legend) this past February and I thought I had died and gone to heaven!!! I can't wait for next year. robynp Posted May 26, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 26, 2004 TootyJane - many thanks for your prompt reply....but, alas....doesn't work for me I even tried not designating a particular month - i.e. all months, all destinations, all ships etc - again to no avail. The latest cruise that will show is March 13 2005. Most odd and just a bit frustrating! I need to 'lock in' some dates soon and would really like to know the 'triplets' itineraries for April/May/June/July 2005.
quote:
...thought I had died and gone to heaven!!! I can't wait for next year.

Me too, I hope! Meantime, I will be sailing Tahitian Princess in 10 days, for 10 days - not quite Seabourn, but I'm sure it will be Paradise! bldsld Posted May 26, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 26, 2004 Robyn, Just go to the section called "Cruise Calendar", click on the section called "custom search", and finally, click only on the box that says "all months", and hit "submit". You will see cruises well into May, 2006. Regards, bldsld
robynp Posted May 26, 2004 #8 Share Posted May 26, 2004 bldsld - many thanks! Finally....it worked! I have no idea why after trying on 3 different computers at 3 different locales! Not a very good start with my first post to the board...but, as I could have expected...expert help from 2 Seabourn sailors was close to hand. And what great itineraries they are! How to choose one...or perhaps two ...or perhaps a Transatlantic? I have printed out the itineraries that interest me and will take them to read in Tahiti next week (doesn't that sound marvellous) A Seabourn experience is at the top of my list for next year...and I am sure I deserve it! Thank you again all for the responses. Cheers from "Down Under"....Robyn
bldsld Posted May 27, 2004 #9 Share Posted May 27, 2004 Robyn, Glad it worked! You'll get the best pricing by combining cruises, and truth be told, 7 days (for me) just isn't enough time on a ship, as the amount of time it takes for us to get just about anywhere from San Francisco makes a 7-day cruise impractical. By the time you adjust to the time zone, it's over! You will likely have the same issue traveling from AU, so if you can manage at least 14-days, you will really be in much better shape to enjoy yourself. BTW, you live in one of my favorite cities in the world--alot like San Francisco, only better weather! Regards, bldsld
bgood Posted May 28, 2004 #10 Share Posted May 28, 2004 The new Seabourn annual brochure is available and can be ordered from the website. It covers all cruises for 2005 and the first 3-4 months of 2006. bgood

Martha B. Posted June 8, 2004 #14 Share Posted June 8, 2004 Sailor's~~~Don't forget to keep your 4 "Guest Referral Coupon's" that are enclosed with your 2005/2006 new Seabourn booklet. I used one $500 on board credit last March and have already sent in another for my Aug./Sept. Cross. The referral program "By Invitation" is a great gift to us! Just a reminder....... norm2002 Posted June 8, 2004 #15 Share Posted June 8, 2004 For the UK users, just heard from Southampton that the 2005/6 prices have just been loaded on the computer and they will be contacting people with advance registrations shortly. Now I can find out what my August 2005 cruise will cost! Jane Pond Posted October 4, 2004 #16 Share Posted October 4, 2004 >"Don't forget to keep your 4 "Guest Referral Coupon's" that are enclosed with your 2005/2006 new Seabourn booklet" I have a question about these. September. How do they work? I have never used them and wonder if one does not use all of the $500, can it be transferred to another cruise? I have a short one in December and a longer one next September. Thanks Jane in PHL
mcboo Posted October 4, 2004 #17 Share Posted October 4, 2004 Jane, 1 per suite per cruise for your referral. They are good for a couple of years . I use mine for the spa. mcboo:):):)
Winner Posted October 4, 2004 #18 Share Posted October 4, 2004 Jane--Sorry to say but the "leftovers" from your $500.00 on-board credit are not transferable to your next cruise. Just have a few more massages to use up those $$$!
Martita B. Posted October 4, 2004 #19 Share Posted October 4, 2004 Jane~~~~~You should, as a Club Member, have 4 "Guest Referral Coupons".....use ONE per booking! I always mail in a coupon when I finalize my cruise........then when I board my $500 is in my on board credit account! I use the money for the spa, dry cleaning and pictures! Sure comes in handy! I rarely have an American Express bill when I disembark! On the Pride Crossing from London to New York......then our "3-day Gilligan's Island Tour", I think I had a bill of $53.00........not bad for 21 DAYS! Have fun! Martita B. Jane Pond Posted October 4, 2004 #20 Share Posted October 4, 2004 Thanks for the information. I do think that with the spa I could easily use the credit. I like a massage in my suite, of course<G> Jane (never tried that 'bath' some have talked about, however)
