First cruise and wondering about AC/Heating...

So we'll be taking the Carnival Fantasy from Pt Canaveral to Bahamas in July. We have an inside stateroom with no windows. So do these units have AC/Heating so we can control our room. And are the rooms completely dark when you close the door and turn off the lights, seeing as there is no window?

Yep! Your room will be darker than a stack of black cats. You might want to take a night light or heed the former advice about the bathroom. On Carnival, there is a vent in the ceiling that can be closed or opened to regulate the temp. I don't know about the other ships YET!

Never did I ever see a room that dark-- its soo dark...

take an illuminated alarm clock so you can see what time it is when you get up. In our cabin on the sensationour phone wake up service did not work and we were almost late for an excursion. The inside cabins are awesome if one wants to take a nap in the afternoon too
