Easter Onboard

CruiseWhere

Recommended Posts

It all depends on the itinerary and the captain and hotel manager.

One time we had only 6 children on board -- South America -- and the chef made 6 beautiful chocolate Easter eggs and placed them in the Lido buffet. Sadly a couple of addults ran away with 2 of them -- staff tried catch them.

On another ship the Lido was decorated with Paper Easter bunnies and fake flowers in pots.

Dinner had "ham" and the trimmings along with other entrees. At that time HAL was using the processed ham.

We haven't been on a cruise at Easter in a few years.

We sailed Easter several times.

There are always services and an Easter Dinner.

I can't say for sure Easter Bunny came last time we sailed though I do remember that from years ago. Club HAL may have had some Easter fun for the children but remember not everyone celebrates that holiday so don't expect too much.

I seem to recall they had some chocolate bunnies/chocolate eggs as decoration at on the tables at the entrance to the MDR where they (used to) put the ice sculptures.

I don't think we had any chocolate eggs offered but you should feel free to bring package(s) with you. That is perfectly permitted.
