New Birth Certificate and Drivers License question

Ok, the Birth Certificate and Drivers License question has been beat to death like the horse in the Triumph threads, but what about this,

 

If you get the new License from North Carolina, for illegal immigrants, will it work?

 

Here is the info on the license from MSNBC about 10 minutes ago,

 

A new North Carolina driver's license set to be issued to some illegal immigrants has a bright pink stripe and the bold words "NO LAWFUL STATUS," raising concerns about whether the design will brand those who show it.

 

Will the customs people then just pick them up at the port as they try to come back in?

I doubt they would even be allowed to board.

Since they won't have a US birth certificate, it does not matter what DL they have. The BC/ID rule only applies to US citizens. Foreign nationals would need a passport from their home country along with the necessary immigration visa to get into the US.
