Celebrity Summit question

We are booked for Nov 2, 2013 out of Puerto Rico. When it says "ports of call-St Johns/Antigua", which one is it? Are these not too separate islands? Someone please explain.

Island is Antigua - port is St John's. Not to be confused with island of St John in USVI.

St Johns is the capital of Antigua. It's also the largest city.

Antigua's capital city is St. John's. In addition, there is an island named St. John's which is part of the US Virgin Islands.

 

Antigua has some beautiful beaches: 365 - one for every day of the year! It was one of our favorite ports last year.

The island in the USVI is actually St. John, not St. John's.

When you are at Antigua, I recommend cabbing to Jolly Harbor. The beach is beautiful, there's a little bar, and its much less crowded than the beaches near the cruise port. And definitely check out Calabeza snorkel tours in Barbados. Pricey but top notch. We did the itinerary you're doing this past Nov.
