dmk Posted March 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2013 We have always stored our luggage under the bed . Last week, I bought some new luggage..hard sides and fat in width. Today, as I looked at the luggage for our cruise this weekend I realized that perhaps the luggage won't fit under the bed. Any suggestions where to put the luggage? Has anybody else had such luggage and found it did fit under the bed? I don't know what I was thinking when I bought this suitcase:cool:
helen haywood Posted March 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2013 If the luggage won't fit under the bed closed, leave it opened, butterflied, and slide it under.
Rare ghstudio Posted March 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Your cabin steward can store it for you...just ask.

Thank you for a very logical solution that never entered my mind:o Your cabin steward can store it for you...just ask. That would be a great 2nd option if the first solution didn't work.:)
ClaudiaB Posted March 4, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I always keep my large case open under the bed. I toss the dirty clothes on one side, and I put the clothes I won't be wearing again or the "contingency" items in there. Slide out, slide in -- easy peasy. gelo7 Posted March 4, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I once had luggage large enough to carry a small child in, and it slide under the bed with no problems.

skandls Posted March 5, 2013 #9 Share Posted March 5, 2013 Also - some of our luggage has been a bit too big to slide under. DH lifted the bed and it fit just fine. I too like the luggage for dirty clothes under the bed.
