jaspersmommy Posted March 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2013 I already have a pre-cruise reservation at the Hyatt House in Ft. Lauderdale. However, I've found suites at the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort for a heavily discounted price and am thinking of moving my reservation. The Hilton looks like a very nice property and the reviews for it are very good. The only thing I'm concerned about is increased cab fare. Can anyone tell me what the cab fare would be from the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort to Port Everglades, and what the fare would be from FLL to the hotel? I appreciate any input. Thank you!
Suzanne123 Posted March 5, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2013 I can't tell you anything about Hyatt House, but I stayed at the Hilton FLL Beach Resort last spring and loved it. The cab fare as I recall was not outrageous. I don't think it was any worse than any of the hotels along the beach. Maybe $20?
malprl Posted May 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2013 The Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort has become our favorite place to stay in Ft. Lauderdale. The best thing about this hotel is you do not hear the word "no." They do everything possible to grant your every wish. Yes, it is more than some of the 17th St. hotels, but if you plan to stay more than 2 nights pre or post cruise, there's no better place to stay. It has a Sun Trolley stop across the street, and the pool alone is worth the extra $$ if you're staying a little longer in Ft. Lauderdale.
Rare Keith1010 Posted May 27, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 27, 2013 I would just call the Hotel directly. They can tell you the taxi fare. Keith
