Suggestions For Cape Canaveral

My daughter and her family will be in the area in a couple of weeks. I have have been out of PC on a cruise a number of times, but have never take the time to tour the area. She wanted suggestions on what to do, but other than Kennedy Space Center and Jetty Park I just didn't know.

 

So could some of you local experts chime in with some family friendly, affordable things to do.

Ron Jon's Surf Shop is a cool place to spend a few hours shopping for beachwear, touristy stuff, and the like. I usually spend a few hours with my family there and always have a great time. A public beach is located two block behind the store which is also nice. There are few places to get a bite to eat and something to drink too. Alot of posters also suggest the Brevard Zoo and the number one tourist attraction, Kennedy Space Center.

Brevard zoo is very nice for a zoo of it's size.
