New to Disney

We are booked on April 27th on the Wonder, my question is on Priate night, do the kids go to dinner dressed in their pirate outfit or do they eat dinner than have to change?

You can do either or. DCL will give each person a bandana to wear when you get to dinner. If you have 2nd seating you'll obviously have less time to change but still time none the less. I'd say seems most people who do dress up go as such during dinner.

I agree with DEX, our experiences has been that the kids and adults are often already dressed at dinner!

 

We have seen some whole families dressed in costumes that a Hollywood studio would be proud of.

You can purchase pirate attire for the kids onboard, bring your own or just make do with the bandana left on your bed for you. We saw pirates everywhere at dinner. Also, many families who dressed up were having their photos done before dinner.

It seems much less rushed wearing the pirate garb to dinner and, as another pointed out, more photo ops. Enjoy.
