Safetyal Posted April 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2013 It seems to be cursed. You can't rename a ship without a renaming ceremony. The gods are angry.

I think they should get rid of the ship it seems to be a huge omen to me that Triumph. Maybe, just to play it safe, while the Triumph is still docked in Mobile, someone (from Carnival) should drive to New Orleans, find an experienced witch doctor, and hire him to come to Mobile to work his magic, to break whatever bad spell is on the Triumph, and put a good luck spell on the ship. Couldn't hurt.;):D
NLuvWthCruisn Posted April 4, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2013 It's a good thing I don't believe in all that superstitious hogwash. Bad things happen to people more than one time. That doesn't mean they are cursed. It just means life happens. This last incident with Triumph was from Nature. However it Sucks to be Carnival right now. GMA used the same phrase on their coverage of this yesterday morning.
