Jet Ski excursion on Cocoa Cay

This is a guided excursion but does anyone know if you get a little time on your own with the Jet skis at the end? My hubby wants to do this but not if you are just following around a guide for the whole 50 min.

You are following a guide, maybe 5 seconds apart in a line from point a to point b. They put people who have had experience on jet skis following the guide in the front of the group, slower, non experienced riders in the back of the group. There is a guide that follows the group so no one gets too far behind. I have done this excursion 3 times and have had a great time!! I think you go pretty fast and seems to me the faster you go the easier it is to control the jet ski. There a few stops along the way and you can get off the jet ski and jump in the water when you stop to see the huge starfish, yes huge! Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I definitely recommend it!

You can rent jetskis at other ports, and do what you want...no follow the leader thing!
