Navigator of the Seas "Spring Break" Picture Review.
Alcohol Package:
My thoughts on the alcohol package are based on my personal views. Different people would use the package different ways, ect.

Do I feel I was able to get my money's worth? Yes, indeed. But I honestly don't know if ill purchase the package again. If I do I'll be sure to pace myself day 1-3. You feel that need to get your moneys worth, so much so you find yourself dehydrated all the time.

Pros:
-trying new drinks was fun. (Tried every martini without any problem)
-pre-paid for so you know exactly what you are going to spend.
-always had plenty of wine with dinner, in fact the bar waiter would come fill our glass each evening without even asking.
-went to the dungeon each evening until 2-4am dancing and ordering drinks/shots for my friends and they could care less. (But I did tip my bartender $10 cash each night)

Cons:
-still had to sign receipts for $0.00, unless of course you handed them $1 bill when you ordered your drink then there was nothing to sign. I asked why we still have to sign a receipt and the bartender stated, "in case you want to leave an extra tip"
-I find you overindulge yourself with booze.
-My final sea day I did not drink any thing, as my body could not handle any more. (well 1 glass of wine at dinner)
-I missed breakfast almost every morning, due to being out so late.

PS. ITS MY BIRTHDAY! :D
The free drink coupons that come in the booklets... errr used to come in the booklets for those ships that still have them. How did the free drinks that are part of it go on your account since you had the drink package? In the end not really get dollar value from said drink? Or they place credit on account for it?
Everything (except those with a *) are included in BOTH packages. I really enjoyed trying all kinds of new beers at the pub each night before dinner.

I think it would probably be just worthless....just like the free photo coupons if you buy the photo package. I really, truly, seriously doubt if you will get a credit for unused "free" coupons. :D:rolleyes::)

With the paper coupons, you could actually get or a photo a drink for someone else. It won't really be an option once they are loaded on the card.

Yeah, that's what I figure would happen, since they were going electronic now.

The BOGO coupon is good for wine, not just the house stuff, which is all that you can get with the package, so still has some value even if you buy the package...

I had three BOGO coupons for drinks and did not use one. We still had the coupon books on my sailing.

I did meet a couple who used their coupon on a $36 glass of wine.

I ordered a Tomato Salad and Shrimp Cocktail. My waiter asked if I'd like the shrimp in the salad and I agreed.

On Mariner, we used all our BOGO coupons on high-end wine at Vintages. We're big wine drinkers...the beverage package would never work for us because it doesn't include anything but the house wine.
