Tnx everybody for helpful information . Do you have any idea abt a 8'' cake and its decoration? Is it just a simple white fondant cake? We are planning to have a

"royal devotion" on board by RCI.

I am renewing my vows in March 2014. I originally booked the renewed package. But I knew I was going to want lots of pictures so I upgraded to the Royal Devotion package this week. I noticed they recently changed their package on the website (but NOT in the brochure from the website) and took more things out of the package. originally 30 (8x10) and 15 CD images and now it is 20 (8x10) for the same price. I asked and they told me I was grandfathered in the original price not to worry.

I am just hoping you booked the package to get the best deal (more pics)

if not please book ASAP before the change the brochure. Maybe you can argue the brochure pricing. Good luck!

Thank you Gisela, the brochure they sent to me was included 30 (8x10) and 15 CD images, hopefully wouldn't change them.

I just sent in my contract so I haven't paid yet so knowing my luck they will give me a hard time. I will definitely try my best to fight for it. I am doing this for pictures as well. Thank you so much for the heads up!

It looks like they adjusted some of the packages to only 20 as well.

If they sent you the brochure with the 30 pics/ 15 CD then I think you are ok. I brought it up to my lady via email (written proof) and she assured me they dont name all the things included in the contract but to use the brochure sent. I also asked again via email about the recent change and she told me I fit in the 30 pic package deal. I am printing for the cruise in case they give me any troubles

 

10 pics are worth $200 !!! just sayin!! (not to mention 15 in CD that you can make your own copies )

 

It paid off to book extra early with them!!

Very True Yall.. ccsci I totally Get what Ur saying.. Im Very happy with My Package..and I will have Friends with GREAT Camaras taking pix, so I will be fine :p

 

The Wax.. I would Do it, esp since U are gettign a Discount for being the First time :) (just make sure U know about the place, OR someone that has been there.. if its UR norm place.. I say GO for it.. Yes Waxing them Eye Brows, and Even Face for Most is a MUST.. NO hairy face throught the Makeup..

 

Love the Choc Party.. That's Different.. I Went to a Bridal Show and they had somethings set up. like Rice Crispy Treat, strawberries, etc Yummy... and The Nail spot with snacks is great:D U are on top of it honey..

Sorry no updates. Unless you count the fact that I almost forgot to get the sand for my sand ceremony. Good thing I remembered. And with only 11 days left they still have not sent me the final documentation to ok or final invoice for the reception. Hmmm.

 

I did go to cosco today and got water and bags of trail mix to hand out to everyone once we get to the pier.

9 days to go And to put it in a different perspective, today is Thursday and wedding is a week from Sunday...I finally got my email today with the final wedding info and cost.

 

I was all excited and I open it up and it was a boring word doc. Not sure what I was expecting but I went ohh. It laid out everything we had chosen for the ceremony and reception.

 

So here is my final breakdown of cost

duet package $1995(wich no longer exist)

food $48 per person $1200

cake $120

flower girl basket $50

sound tech $150

 

That is my basic cost. The wedding and the cruise cost almost the same. I could have taken a B2B cruise. JK, cant wait to have the family here to celebrate with us.

Yay! So excited for you! I think I'm going to go with the sound tech too and a microphone and have a guest who is in event planning do the two announcements I want. First dance and coming in the room. Dj just not worth it lol. Yay! 8 more days!

Today Maria called me and I made the final payment. It seems real. I can not even order anything else on line, it may not get to me on time. I mean seriously, this is it!! And this also ends my communication with the wedding specialist. Unless I have any more questions, but I can not think of any.

 

To sum up my experience so far, I would give it an 8 out of 10. If you are looking for some one to give you lots of attention, this is not they way to go. I knew from reading the boards to be patient. I only got worried as I saw all my dates pass that the contract said information was needed. In the end they did the right thing and corrected the two mistakes that I should not have had to pay for.

 

I am very happy that I have gone this route and that I have kept it small. As I watch my addiction, four weddings, I would not want any other venue.

 

Tomorrow is my chocolate bacherolette (which one day I may be able to spell) party. The countdown to wedding day is here.

You are correct. Thank you and Saturday night for the "dress rehearsal/out of town guest dinner" I ordered a cake to surprise all the moms and thank them for spending there mothers days celebrating with us and that does include me too :)

Mother's Day is one day of the year. As with most holidays, it's become commercialized. You can celebrate when you return.

One week to go and as I watched the port everglades cam with the Allure pulling our of sight, I was awestruck. When these people get off the ship, I will be getting on. I wonder who is on our room right now?

 

Laundry started today. Cleaning everything. I need to pack all my lingerie so he does not see it. And suitcases come out tomorrow. Ment to come out today but got to busy. Im making list for my list. Went to grocery store for the week so I do not have to think about food again this week. I do not know about everyone else, but the closer I get the less appetite I get. Eating is the last thing I want to do right now.

 

Need to think about logistics of getting everything to port. My mother in law has my dress at her house so she will take it with her. I will keep you all posted on how I am packing everything.
