trikeman Posted April 10, 2013 #28 Share Posted April 10, 2013 So I always go in and check prices and tonight was checking the Alaska cruise. Mini-suites and Suites are going in excess of 99 billion dollars. I know it is a computer glitch (or gosh, I sure hope it is ... ) but had to share. This is a screen print from tonight. Makes me extremely glad we are already booked. I can truly say we got a phenomenal deal on our mini-suite. :D Have you thought about selling your cabin on E-Bay? :D:D:D

Minoushka Posted April 10, 2013 #31 Share Posted April 10, 2013 They could transfer some of the 99 billion to help pay the US deficit . If everyone paid that on every ship the debt would be paid up inno time ....mmmmmmm.smart thinking Princess!!LOL
UpcountryTravelers Posted April 10, 2013 #32 Share Posted April 10, 2013 I have a whole lot of cruises saved, and the 99 billion is only showing in those catagories that are sold out. I guess that's the new terminology. ;) What it means is: if you pay the price, you could bump out anyone who is already booked!! :o)
Pia1913 Posted April 10, 2013 #33 Share Posted April 10, 2013 I would expect those silly numbers will go away shortly and the words sold out will return. I know for a fact they are busy manipulating bookings today......something that is done Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I for one just got a major upgrade. Very surprised and very pleased.:)

RickEk Posted April 10, 2013 #35 Share Posted April 10, 2013 Hi There They need the extra money to help Carnival pay off the Costa fines, another million Euro fine today so they do not face crimal charges. yours shogun From what I understand, each of the affiliated cruise lines within Carnival Corp. had to fork up substantial money to help alleviate the Costa disaster. Not fair in my opinion...:(
NavyVeteran Posted April 10, 2013 #36 Share Posted April 10, 2013 Will someone please book a cabin at these rates? As a Carnival Corporation shareholder, we need something to help the price of the stock go back up.

I guess that's the new terminology. ;) I bet you can use an FCC to put down only $100 as a deposit on a $99 billion cabin. I wonder how much OBC you get for booking a $99 billion cabin using an FCC. meredemer Posted April 10, 2013 #38 Share Posted April 10, 2013 Ok, call me a "snob", but I"M not paying $99 billion to travel on any USED ship. Might consider it for the NEW Regal....but, Ha. not for anything USED!
