Is there an unlimited photo package with Celebrity?

There definitely was on our recent cruise.

I think it was $349 for the disc with unlimited photos in digital or print form and possibly another $100 if you wanted both. Someone else will hopefully confirm the prices for you.

There was some mention in the Featured Today strip of paper on the first day after embarkation that read : "Get all your cruise photos on one disc at an amazing price. Special offers available for early birds." I have no idea what these offers were though.

One thing I can be sure of price wise was 15 photos on a disc was $199. It's quite neat, you pay on the ship get the disc and then back home install some software and connect via the internet to a storage are to "unlock" the photos you want to download. If you change your mind and want to unlock more there is an option to pay extra.

It's not something I would usually consider, but we had some OBC that we needed to use or lose so spending it on photos seemed like a good option :)

The price varies base on cruise length. There is also a pre-cruise purchase option available from Celebrity/RCI's vendor. The company name is mycruisephotos. Just add .com to it and you can find more on the web.

Yes, we just purchased this for our upcoming 11-night cruise. The price does vary based on the length of the cruise, and maybe even the destination and if you pre-purchase or buy on the ship. We paid $399 for all the prints and the disk.

I was hoping to use OBC for the photo packages.

Hi,

We just returned last week from our Easter 11 night cruise to Panama aboard the Equinox and purchased the disc + all printed pictures for $350.

We knew ahead that we were going to go for all the pictures we could get so we stopped everywhere! Outside the boat at each of the 6 stops and each night before dinner.... we had a huge Stack, hundreds of pictures and we got all the prints and the disc for the one price.

There were even a few pictures that we knew we had taken and could not find on the wall.... they made sure to print those out as well... not sure what we will do with sooo many pictures of ourselves but there were many lovely shots that we did not want to pass up.

A special shout out for Kadeem! He was the BEST photographer we have ever encountered! Once we took a picture with him, he remembered our family at every stop! HEY ROBBIE..... Work It! it was soooo fun and he made the smiles genuine. We were very happy with the photos and quality. :D

What is the price difference between buying onboard and ordering from mycruisephotos.com? If it's not a huge difference, we'll just purchase onboard and use our OBC.

I'm curious about that, too - can anyone chime in on whether there's an advantage one way or the other? Also, if you pre purchase, is there a way for them to link it with your captain's club account so as to take advantage of any offers/perks that may be associated with it?

We booked ours online last year for $239. Went to multiple stations on formal nights to pose together or just one of us with different backdrops. We ended up with almost 300 pictures, 40 we loved, 70 were ok, and the rest bad poses-eyes, posture, etc. Came out to less than $10 a picture. Loved it.

You can also book on line at mycruisephotos.com They offer for both RC and Celebrity cruises and are the vendor celebrity and RC use. Sometimes the rate is actually cheaper then on board.

You can only order about 4-6 weeks before your cruise.

One thing to note that the "unlimited" package is limited to your cabin only. That is if you're traveling with family and friends in other cabins, you will not get photos of them unless you're in the pictures with them. However, if your cabins/reservations are linked, then you will be able to all the photos.

We got the "unlimited" package (70+ photos total) for $349 for our 7-day Caribbean cruise last week. It wouldn't be worth the price if it was just my cabin, but luckily all of my family's cabins were linked so we got to have our cutie pie nephews' photos too! Also the unlimited price is for CD OR prints, to get both I think it was additional $100.
