private wine tour

anyone have any recommendations for a private tour in Bordeaux? (Le Verdon)

 

I will be in port from 0700 to 1800 and would like to visit a few wineries

Do a search on this board re wine tours as people have posted some really good info.

You can always go right into town and almost next to the wine museum is the Tourist Board...they are really good at setting people up for a wine tour...usually to St. Emillion,but they can do wahtever you may want. You may want to check them out on line as well.

We did this in 2009 and had a great guide. Our small group of eight had a marvelous time. My husband indicated what regions we wanted to go to and and we were able to create our own itinerary. It was a very full day! I use Alain Roux. I know some of our group (from our roll call) have used him on their subsequent trips to Bordeaux since 2009.
