Our neighbors are sailing away tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. Will try to be there to send them off on their TA adventure. :D

The Nieuw Amsterdam will not be back until the fall.

I have some appointments in the afternoon, but really want to attend the Nieuw Amsterdam's sailaway. I think I should be able to make it as long as there are no significant delays in my appointments.

Soory, but yes, you are missing something. She was scheduled for 1800 and then changed to 2330 and she is coming in. The pilot board and NA are heading in...still a ways out. Keep watching. I am such an addict. I know there will be no toots, but.... I so love these ships.

and to make it even better... I am sipping on my Woodbridge White Zin that I found on my cruise on the Amsterdam. so good.

Probably not, but it will just be nice to see her come in any way. They always arrive so early, I never see that part. Good catch KNOT2L82SAIL.

Web Cam #3 is panning the Fort Lauderdale area, but clearly Nieuw Amsterdam is entering the port when the camera is pointed in that area.

Sometimes it is just not fair, being an addict and having to rely on the webcams for fulfillment.

But hey... at least there are webcams. LOL And this one is fantastic.

I saw the Volendam in Ketchikan today too. Nice.

Web Cam #2 has finally activated to show her in the turning basin. She is going to dock at Pier 19. And, that has me puzzled. Why not Pier 26? That has long been a traditional HAL pier for Port Everglades, but has been recently underused in favor of Pier 21.

No lights at all visible in the cabins above the lifeboats nor below. One does not see that very often.
