Breakaway coming down the Hudson!

I never realized how dark the front of the ship is kept at night until I saw these screen shots. :eek:

We heard the fireworks from my home. My husband asked me, "why are there fireworks now on a Weds night" and I said I bet it is for the Breakaway, and a second later we heard her horn. :) I wish I had known, I would have walked down to the waterfront.

 

We heard them from our home too!

If you go to the nyharborwebcam site on the bottom right is video of the pilot going to the breakaway and getting aboard. i'm sure everyone was happy the water was so calm!
