...that Ron Pass won't be our Piano Bar player on Breeze in October?

 

We had James Quigley on Dream in April 2012. We had an amazing week!!! We spent every night in the Piano Bar, forgoing the late comedy shows, the production shows, etc. He was, and is, an amazing, engaging, and energizing performer. (Heck, I'm considering booking a four-day Glory Boston-Canada cruise just to hang with James again.)

 

We've sailed Glory, Pride, and Liberty since, and all three PB players were terrible. I was getting quite discouraged. Then I read many good things about Ron Pass and have been so looking forward to finally having another great week in the PB. Oh, well.

Looks like you have Ben Gentry...I've seen some good posts about him:) We had Ron on the Breeze and he was very good, but he's not the only good one out there. If you get a chance to sail with Marty Gast, he is a blast! He revived us after a few cruises with less than stellar PB players;) You can look at Ben's website...PianomanBen.com and see what you think. Have a great time...the Breeze is a fabulous ship! (My review is in my signature if you're interested).

Divetrash (Laura) keeps a pretty updated list on the following thread. John Heald also posts updates. No, you can't find out about the comedians ahead of time that I know of. They have short runs and switch ships frequently so it would be a nightmare trying to keep track. Here you go!:)

James is AMAZING!!! He's witty, sarcastic, energetic, interactive, engaging, and downright fun. He has really raised the bar for us.

Now I know I'll have to spend time in the piano bar since James Quiqley will be on my cruise in 8 short days (not that I'm counting).

You two sailing in Oct should change your cruise to our Halloween "Party with Marty" cruise! We have a group of about 40 Piano Bar lovers going on the Freedom 10-27-13 6 day sailing with the GREAT Marty Gast! We even have the Piano Bar booked for our group one night for a private party with Marty! It is going to be a Blast! It is a book on your own. But if anyone wants to join everyone is welcome. We have a closed forum for the cruise, so if you want to get in on the best cruise ever just let me know here or search FB for the page.
